It reminds you of beautiful moments and gives hope in troubled times. But most of all, it has the power to let you feel at home, no matter where you find yourself.

Here’s what people are saying..

“I purchased "The Harmony Dance" artwork from Jessica as an early graduation gift for myself. I love the artwork for the significant meaning it holds. When I learned that the coffee filters, the coffee and wine are all elements of happy get togethers I just fell in love with it even more!"

— Christine Cortez Flores

"The pictures online, although pretty, do not do the feeling her art evokes in person justice in any way. As soon as I saw them in person, they took my breath away. They are stunning in color, form, and flow."

— Laura Mansfield

“I just received a painting by Jessica and, to my delight, everything was so thoughtfully and elegantly wrapped, like a gift. She even included some text about the meaning of the painting, which I appreciated. I am so excited to display this lovely work of art in my home”

— Katya Richards

“Jessica's artwork is even more captivating and detailed in person! I love the coffee filters, use of coffee, and the depth of the colors. Her work speaks volumes while also bringing a sense of calm, community and care. ”

— Erin Hibma

FAQs

1. What is the story (symbolism) behind the paintings?

Each collection carries it own story and inspiration. As you go through the collection page or the painting listing you will find more specifics about its story and inspiration.

2. Should I frame the artwork I purchase or can it go without?

Each painting includes painted sides and the main subject only stays on the top. This makes them perfect to hang without a frame. However, if you want to frame the piece then I recommend so called ‘float frames’.

3. Where do you get your coffee filters from that you use in your paintings?

I use coffee filters as part of my artwork. For coffee lovers, it’s a Chemex paper filter. They have been used when family, guests and artists come to our home. I have also used coffee filters from local cafes. I purposely use these specific coffee filters as a way to incorporate community into the paintings.
